if i look like this 12 weeks out can i bulk for a month?
I am doing my first show in October and was thinking of doing a month of a clean bulk and then deit 8 weeks out, here are my current pics at 5% and 213

what are your goals? why are you trying to bulk now if you're in good shape?
what weight class are you competing in and what weight are you shooting for?
also, how tall are you? i don't mean this in offense, but you don't look 213 5% so i figure you must be really tall to carry that weight so spread out. you're large, don't get me wrong, but 200lbs of solid lean muslce is HUGE. those pics aren't that great either so it's hard to judge.

the w-e-i-g-h-t took me by surprise too but I can only assume its because I added almost 3" on my quads and 2 on my calves and my lats grew a lot from w-e-i-g-h-t-e-d pullups. But I am 6' tall. My plan was to bulk so I can come in novice heavy, only because ive seen the past competitors in this caragory and they are very smooth and hold a lot of water, or someone will have massive smooth legs with no cuts but average upperbody. So my plan would be to look bigger or as big as i really am and I think it has a lot to do with proportion being that certain bodyparts need to be brought up just a little bit to achieve the right proportions. I just dont know if it will effect my metabolism too much and i wont shred enough in 8 weeks? Im insane?

oh, and truthfully, I want to fhukin eat!!! I just want a month where Im not being 150% accurate with my macros

You would be crazy to add any kind of bulking cycle 12 weeks out.

what is novice heavy? at 212 you should be there. at 5% bodyfat how much more do you think you are going to lose?
and that makes sense, i can't see your legs in the pics and 6ft would be about right for the height to be that heavy.

You can add a few calories or cut back on the cardio a bit but dont get into the "bulking" mindset. Are you sure you are at 5%? You should be seeing striations in your glutes and have crazy seperation everywhere.
