Figure Competitiors and Breast Implants

Hey guys and girls,

My workout partner is a figure competitor who is planning on getting breast implants in the near future more or less just because she feels it will aid in furthering her figure career. She recently did very well in her last show and placed first in both her divisions and second (barely to a girl who just earned her pro card at nationals in Florida) in the overall. She still thinks implants will improve her overall proportions though and is set on surgery. There are a couple different methods she can choose from, but what would be her best option? Currently, she is going with the option to have silicone implants done under the pectoral muscle because she wants to be able have children in the future and still be able to breast feed. The other option is silicone on top of the pectoral muscles, but there is a 20% chance that it would destroy her ability to breast feed later on, so she is more opposed to that idea. Any information or input would be appreciated! Thanks~

she needs to go under the muscle. that is highly recommended.going over the muscle they will shift and you can see the bag lines when she gets lean for her comp.

her best bet is to consult with a few plastic surgeons and see what the pros/cons are.

just curious. what city does she live in? i know of one two in socal that are highly recommended by friends.

This is not an issue with the new memory gel type implants. They work fine over the muscle.

Agreed! and they also have a more natural feel,they are also silicone!

Technology is a wonderful thing. I have been in the strip club business for almost twenty years ( it's a hard life.... I know) and have seen all types of fake boobies come and go. Under the muscle used to be the way to make them look better. Now with the gel, over the muscle looks best. Thing is that nobody knows what the over the muscle gel ones will look like in ten years, cause they haven't been around that long.

My best advice to your friend is go to some strip bars. Find the boobs that she likes. Then ask the girl where she got them. The girls are very upfront about it. They might even give you, " my doctor is the same one that Mercedes, Zoe, and Precious used...." so you can see his work on other's frames.

Just a thought. Hell, go with her....... It's for RESEARCH, dammit.
