Greetings all,

i do apologize in advance if this question has been covered before. I have however read a lot of different opinions and am still not clear on a few things.

In under 3 weeks I will be stepping on stage for the first time. I would like to know what to consume on the day of my comp as well as in the moments before I step on stage.

I have read many posts recommending various things such as snickers bars, rice cakes with honey, pizza, alcohol etc. Any opinions on whats best? And how much does one consume? and how long before you step on stage do you consume these things? Do I drink water pre-stage too, when and how much?

I will be competing at 140lbs if that changes anything.
