Gastritis (sp?)
What kind of diet or nutritional guidelines would you reccomend for a person (dog actually ) with gastritis?

lol. well Im not sure what gastritis is. Dont know the swedish translation Il look into it.
but a dog has a completely different digestive system then a human

well just searched what it is. should know since I suffer from it
pro biotics is da bomb when it comes to gastritis. Many of the problems can be avoided if the bacterial fauna is correct.
veggies, fruits stuff like that is also good. It is sour but when metabolised it raises ph or something like that. Not sure only something I remember from a book.
but a dog is completely different

vitamin a can be used to treat ulcers so it would work in this case to. But dont know about dosage.

if its casued by heliobacter poly then a probiotic will help since it will compete with the h.poly and make it die
