pssst.....bread is fine, bars are fine, and fruit is definately fine....we've had this discussion.......just have the banana in your very first meal when gly. stores are low, not POST WORKOUT....there you need dex and whey.
A protein bar that is low sugar low sat. fat and high protein (try the carb sense eas bars) are fine......
and from there, go either protein carbs in a meal or protein fat........i like my carbs all in my irst meal of the day, the meal pretraining and the meal post trainining....ALL OTHER CARBS ARE FROM VEGGIES........SALAD...........ETC. Works unbelieveably well. Oh, and dextrose PW.

06.00 am 5 eggs whites omlette with turkey ham and cheese
22gms protein shake
25grms oatmeal + cup skimmed milk
08.00 am 2 slices of wholemeal bread
turkey breast and edem chesse
1 banana
10.00 am 1 large can of tuna with salad
1 yogurt
15 almonds
4 capsules cod liver fish oil
12.15 pm chicken breast
1 cup rice
1 apple
02.30 pm 40gms protein shake
04.45 pm steak
2 caramel rice cakes
05.30 pm workout
07.15 pm one meal replacment protein shake
1 cup oatmeal
09.30 pm chicken breast with salad
3 caramel rice cakes
between meals 1 protein bar (50gms)
Total 416 protein
So what do you guys think...... are the caramel ice cakes a good source of carbs??
