Best macro ratio's for bulking/cutting
just wandering peoples opinions on macro ratios for either cutting or bulking
i dont believe there is a correct answer here - i just wanted peoples opinions
last time i cut - i used a ratio of 55/30/15 (Pro/carb/fat)
this worked well - and went below10% bf level, but found myself very moody due to the low carbs
and lost a little too much muscle for my liking
next time i will experiment with a 40/40/20 split
as for bulking i'm currently in day 1 of a bulk cycle and am on
40% pro
50% carbs
10% fat

I start my cut at 55/30/15 and as I progress move to a 40/40/20.
I always bulk doing 40/40/20.

i used to use 40/40/20 for bulking but found it made my protein just too high
i'm gonna be controversial here and say i believe carbs
are as important (if not more important) than protein
if u want 4000kcals on 40/40/20 split
you need like 420g protein which i think is too much
some pro's use a lot less than that (cutler uses 300g for bulking)
