    one quick question about oatmeal

    Hey guys the nutriotional fact on the back of my quacker old fashiones oatmeal say ( carbs: 28g ) and on steroid .com says oatmeal "Cooked" ( carbs : 13 grams ) so if i cook my oatmeal usually boil it in water im just getting 13 grams so i must double the amount so i cant get around 30 grams ? in my meal #1 wich(sp?) is what i need

    1/2 cup DRY oat meal is about 28 g Carbs.

    so even i cook it ( boil it ) the 1/2 cup im getting de 28 g ?

    The carbs don't just disappear. 1/2 cup dry has 28g carbs. When you cup it it expands to about 1 cup depending apon how long you cook it and how much water you add. That's why it is always better to measure your oats before you cook it, so you can be more accurate.
