I also eat them hardboiled (BTW, I would STRONGLY recommend not to eat them raw... I had Salmonella once.. you do not want that) anyway, as I was saying, I eat them hardboiled but the drama comes when I try to peel the bastards.. sometimes nice and easy and I am happy but mostly never easy and I end up butchering the egg trying to get the shell off...grrr
any secrets to this age old question.. I mean I really need to try and be smarter than the egg
Thanks

Squatdaddy, you can either buy an egg steamer, or do it the old fashion way on the stove. The steamer basically boils the egg and disintegrates the shell making it really easy to peel. But if you do it on the stove, boil the eggs until they float then have a bowl full of ice and water ready to move the egg directly into. This will help the shell and membrane separate from the egg itself.

Thank you millersir7 I will definately try this and also price steamers... I really really appreciate this as the frustration level almost wants to make me abandon egg whites...
zimmy I have seen this infomercial and as usual am a little sceptical... usually if it seems to good to be try, it usually is... but thanks, I might revisit this one at some point

Boiling them takes a little bit time so I just get Egg Whites from the carton and drink it raw ,taste like nothing can get alittle expensive for whites.

boiled motha ****n eggs. to easily remove shell, put egg under cold running water and peel. easiest way for me and it takes the hassle and frustration out of peeling it dry..
