what does your bf% go up to when bulking?
just wondering what you guys typically let your bf% go up to during bulking up? i used to let mine get up to about 12%, but from some stickies i've read and some searching i've been doing, seems like it might be better to keep the bf at 10% and under, even when bulking.
anyway, just wanted to see how high you guys go during your bulks.

i usually gain 15 muscle or so, and 7 fat or so. but this is when ii slack on cardio and do none. . i get as high as 14%, some times only 11%. depends, on length of bulk and such.

it depends on how lean you are before, and how clean you keep your diet.

it also depends on your goals bro. some people like the bulkier look and dont really want to go below 11-13% even when cut.

Kinda depends on the duration of the bulk, and morphotype of the athlete. 3 to 5% more bf/bulk seems to be average.

i don't go with teh morphtype hype. i think if you bulk with a solid clean diet approach you can blunt most of your fat gains. and when they undoubtedly begin, then you probably need to stall your bulk because your body needs to recover, seeing as it is less efficient at putting on muscle at that point.

Cosidering I'm Endo/Meso it kinda easy to gain if I don't watch it.
Which this past bulk I did not....

I go up to maybe 14% usually, but i'm bulking right now and I think I'm about 10%, maybe 9.5% - but that's because I'm eating really clean AND bulking, which is definately more expensive!

I'm going to try to keep it at 10 or 11 this time... but being new to training/dieting it is all an experiment.
Last bulk (my first true bulk) I got up to 15% even while eating clean simply because I ate a huge excess of calories.

great info guys. thanks for all the responses.
the reason i was asking is because i know that the less bf you have the better when doing gear cause fat is where aromitization occurs, hence some peoples reasoning in trying to keep their bf down year round. additionally, i live in FL now, so unlike NY, there's no winter where you can cover it up. because of that, along with several other reasons, i want to try to keep my bf a little lower than i used to.
regretfully, i just found out my bf% is up to 13 right now. guess my caloric intake was too high. well, time to start including cardio in my bulking up. if i get up to 13.5, gonna have to stop bulking and start cutting again. just can't let my bf get that high.

mine got above 15% during my last bulk.........but i havent cut since last year.

Yes sir, when you drop your estrogen down to nothing you generally feel shitty and ache like hell. Try backin off the AI some next time.
