start by staying away from fast food and candy. drink only water and milk. make sure you get lots of healthy carbs and proteins. keep studying nutrition and making improvements as you learn.

I find that you can use the cutting sticky and still train with it. Just have to arrange your carb intake around your mma class..For instants, I usually do a carb / protien meal an hour before any bjj / mma class so that it's gone down enough not to make it come back up and still there enough to fuel me...Just make sure you have your pwo shake or fruit for right after mma...

I have been experimenting with some things lately.

On days I train bjj/mt I will only have one carb meal(AM) or no carb meals through out the day. I dont feel hungry half way through the classes. I feel like I have more stamina and I have been leaving with less headaches and feelings of fatigue. I havent changed anything else in my routine. I dont think that the classes have gotten any easier? but thats just me...

I dont have a diet totally "in check" but it is decent.

I dont do MMA training on weight days. On weight days I consume about 300 g of carbs though.

I dont want to get into specifics on my diet cause I am a fatass(16% ish bf) who doesnt know my head from my ass and dont want to sound like a total ass, but I know how I feel. My diet is never exactly the same but pretty close.

I weight train(no more than an 1:20 on real long days) 4 days a week and do MMA 2-3 days(1-3 hrs at a time depending)

Edit* I am not a fighter either, just do it for fun
