    crazy cutting diet

This is the cutting diet my friend runs and he is in sick shape. It is very unorthodox and basically what he does is take 2 huge cheat days, which are also his off days andhe claims this aids in recovery. when i say cheat days i am not kidding either pizza beer and in any amounts. and you name it he eats it that day. He says on these days he usually takes in between 4000 and 5500 calories These days are wed and sunday for him. He says this diet helps him stay "full and pumped" while cutting and ensures he loses no strenght. And also if i rememeber correctly i have heard of some old school bodybuilders following similar methods. I am thinking about giving it a try let me know if it is just the worst idea you have ever heard or not. He also focuses greatly on his cardio and i will do the same as he feels this is one of the staples of this program where he can keep his bodyfat low while eating massive amounts of nutrients 2 days a week. The other days he follows this diet
the other 5 days a week
    8am cardio 45 minutes
    9am meal 1 8 eggwhites 2 oz oats
    30 g protein 50 grams carbs 5 grams fat

12:00 PMmeal 2 6 oz salmon with 2 tbsp flax oil and 3 oz vegtables
40 grams protein 5 carbs 39 grams fat

    3:00 PMmeal3 4 oz chicken with 2 oz oats 3 oz berries
32 grams protein 58 carbs 5 grams fat
    4:30PM Train

6:30 PM meal4 pwo shake 20 grams whey 40 grams dextrose plus 5 grams bcaas
    25 g protein 40 grams carbs
7:45 PMmeal 5 3 oz chicken 2 oz brown rice
    25 protein 50 carbs 5 fat

    10:45P meal 6 5 oz fish 2 tbsp flax 4 oz vegtables
    35 grams protein 5 carbs 30 fat

182 grams protein 208 carbs 84 fat 2314 total calories

He is 178 pounds and everytime you see him he seems harder and leaner. He has 7 percent body fat and benches 365 4 times and squats 315 15 times. he claims it is not genetics as he sturggled in his ealy training days but really credits most of his sucess to this diet. I am very curious to get on it from you guys as i know some knowledgable people on here have to have some of their own beliefs on it. Thanks and i look forward to hearing what you guys have to say. By the way he is all natural too and it is true as i went to high school with him and he started to really flourish in the past year or so when he began a form of this diet. He fine tuned it to what he feels he will do a long time, (the plan i posted above)

It looks ok. Personally I would make it 1 cheat day per week and gorge that day on complex carbs. I would leave the pizza and especially the beer which is of no value whatsoever. Looks like a basic cutter with an extra cheat day to me.

This may sound a little dumb but i am kind of ignorant to the subject of diabetes but would doing this to your body put you at risk for diabetes or anything related. thanks

Why? because of the cheat days?? Don't forget your average joe probably eats processed crap all week long so I would say this diet is prolly better than Mr Average at least!

Agreed, thats what it looked like to me as well. I do a slightly altered CKD, works great with my metabolism.
The key is carb-up(energize) and not to binge, junk up which will hinder fatloss.

A poor diet in perpetuity with high body fat will put you at risk of diabetes. Not cycling your carbs

i usally have one cheat day on the weekend, i'm half italian so I love my pasta and meatballs...I eat bad but not terrible, tons of carbs, but never like burger and fries meals. A little bacardi and diet coke on the weekends doesnt set me back either
