    need energy

    i work really early mornings (04.00) on the transport system in london, i am always finding myself strugling to stay awake no matter how many red bulls or coffees i have. does anyone know of a kwick boost to keep me awake? and something to give me a energy boost before a workout.

    drop the redbull completely and keep the coffee to a minimum. seriously, all you are doing is compensating for a diet that can be improved and work for you, instead of against you. eating several low-glycemic level foods, and foods high in fiber, throughout the day can literally change your life by replacing the "highs" and "lows" with a more consistent energy.

    That being said, the first cup of coffee in the morning is a must.

    I make me a fruit smoothie in the morning. Fruits seem to get me going. Along with a multi-vitamin.

    my smoothie includes::
    milk, protein powder, banana, strawberries, rasberries, yogurt, and a dash a cinnamon.

    i am getting around 6 hours sleep, my diet is ordinary and i think that i am immune from the effects from caffeine! before i leave home for work i have a bowl of oats with honey, 2 slices of brown bread with low fat spread and a nice cold glass of diet coke. once at work i have a cup of cappachino, the next meal is around 4 hrs later normally a tuna mayo baguette.
    RED BULL has never ever done anything for me in the 10 years that i have been drinking the stuff, why do i keep dinking it i hear you ask well i like the taste and hope for a miracle that it will work one day the same goes for the cappachino.
