    Mid-Night Protein Shake?

I have been thinking about waking up mid-night to drink a protein shake. I have a man-fridge right next to my bed, so it would be convienent. Currently on a cycle of SD, so it may be worth it to have a constant flow of protein. Any input on this? It would probably be skim milk and 40g whey.

So maybe cassein and water or whey and water would be better? I just can't think of a downside to having a constant flow of protein. If mixed with water, is there any possibility this would increase fat retention?

Too much fat and carbs for me before bed. But yes they are very delicious, probably my favorite protein.

I do the same thing. My shake consists of faster and slower digesting proteins. I have some soy isolate, micellar casein, casseinates and egg. Mix with water, flax and BCAA's and you're set.
