    Eating Big -

    Evening fellas and females -

    Im going to get bulking soon - at the moment im around 9% bf at about 176 pounds around 6ft in height.

    Just wanted you guys' take on this please - i normally like to eat big, all clean mind you - lots of clean carbs, proteins, healthy fats, etc... - my diet is really good but just wondered how big you guys eat.

    I dont really mind putting on a little fat as thats part of bulking - and i havent bulked for a while and i just have that feeling - you know - the one where you want to up calories as you feel like eating more.

    Would be great to hear you guys' views.

    i eat big but according to my body weight and desired LBM..

    I dont know really - dont like taking my own advice - just trying to see how much you guys eat. Like i say - it will all be clean calories.

    Meal 1 - 100 grams of oats, 250 grams of cottage cheese, 4 egg whites.
    Meal 2 - 220 grams of chicken with 25 grams of almonds
    Meal 3 - 100 grams of white rice with steak or 220 grams of chicken
    Meal 4 - 200 grams of cottage cheese, 30 grams of whey with 15ml flax oil
    PWO - 50 grams of whey with either dextrose or oats
    PPWO - 200 grams of steak with 100 grams pasta.

    Fruit and veg included too of course.

    THAT TOOK FOREVER FYI

    Totals cals3578 fat107 carb 243 pro396

    This is without the dextrose so add about 50-100grams of carbs depednin on ur use...

    You'll put on some fat, but you'll definitely gain, IMO. I'm similar size to you and have been steadily adding at around 3300 cals, but I've positively been adding fat.

    I just get discouraged if I don't see results in the form of scale/pictures so I'd rather eat too much than not enough. finding the perfect amount is tough... though I'm sure I will get it with time.

    True - good thing about starting with lower bf though. I would rather eat big and more than actually what i need but gain at the same time - rather than limit what i could gain by eating too few calories.
