    Juice Diet Question

I was thinking about running a juice diet just to purify my system before I start dieting with food and working out regularly, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with juice diets and how long did you run them? Is there any good books that could help me out with this? Any input would be appreciated.

It's much too catabolic a diet to be considered healthy for the purpose of building lean muscle mass. You'll lose everything you're working toward in a heartbeat.

Do a search on the web for the terms 'anti-catabolic,' 'anabolic ' and 'protein synthesis.'

Also, your name says "wrestler." Do you wrestle currently? What are your stats (height, weight, etc.)?

It was suggested to achieve body cleansing predominantly before a starting a healthy diet.
I do not wrestle anymore....some injuries cut the career short

Im not sure what you mean by purify, albeit our digestive system and gastrointestinal tract are extremely efficient in excretion.
If you are having difficulties in this excretion or prefer fasting for hoilstic or other issues, I see no purpose. Nonetheless a day or two of "purification" will not have any significant effect on your muscles
