cheapCheap Diet
want to get my diet into place already have lots of eggs, and protein shakes to hand but stuff like chiken tuna and other meat all add up in price and being a student from the uk and dont have that much money, Just wondering where people get the best value on stuff and if they buy in bulk or something i know you can get like 10 packs of frozen chiken for like £5 or something... and oats and next to nothing... but tuna is quite expensive general? jst wondering the cheapest way to get all the nutrition i need!
Jst another little add on how much do people spend on their food e.g per week!

Ground meats, beans/rice/oats/pasta/potatoes/yams etc..
Tuna/Tilapia/Chicken + eggs for protein.

Food is not cheap, especially when you're eating healthy/clean with descent amount of protein.

can't beat tesco value chicken £3 a kilo. I found the tesco healthyliving range stuf is better though for the extra £ per kilo, I usually get 800g once cooked as opposed to 650g of the Tesco value range (less added water I guess).
180 eggs from tesco = £10
30 kilos of chicken = £120
5kg Whey from Bulkpowders.co.uk = £25
10/15 kilos of Rice = £10 plus veggies etc
You can eat 4000 calories of good, clean food a day for under £200 a month quite easily. I manage it and I'm a uni student, my friends who spend £50 a week on drinking are all poorer than me..just depends what your priorities are tbh.
