What is your top egg count?

I make scrambled eggs with like 8 eggs and eat them all at once with salt and ketchup. What is your top egg count for one meal?

used to eb about 6. I would include 1-2 yolks. But now I go for only about 4-5 including all 4-5 yolks. I began doing this after reading up on what Arnold said on the subject. He said most of the vitamins and minerals and nutrients are in the yoke...plus only about 2.5g of protein are in the whiles...the other 4g or so are in the yolk. He reccomended eating the white and yolk...so ...this is what I do....and I like it much much more.

I always eat the yoke and the whites, but I keep hearing about the cholesterol content of the yoke. I have heard that one single large yoke can contain 2/3 the daily recommended intake of cholesterol ( or something like that.) is the yoke really that bad for you?

damn 12 eggs w/ yokes. That is alot. I usually take in about 5-6 eggs w/ yoke a day. Usually 3 (with added cheese..yum) for breakfast along with my whole-grain toast and quarter pound or so of chicken. Then i usually have two-three with my lunch or dinner. I usually eat close to 1.5+ pounds of meat a day ...a combination of chicken and beef. I usually drink milk w/ every meal as well so I get my protein from varied sources. If I don't find another job here in about 2 weeks though i will have to cut back on the meat big time and prolly increase the eggs. but damn..back to the point..12 eggs w/ yoke...lol...your the man.

Wow man, that is so cool to see. When I stated cutting did the same. Worked really well for me and at the ealy stages of getting into shape helped me lose 100 lbs of body fat this way. Was never hungry either.

These days its a 2 or 3 egg omlette with a slice of cheese, and 2 or three slices of bacon. Sometimes I make a leo omlette with lox and eggs. But like you, no oatmeal, gritts toast etc. For me, it just adds fat, and its harder to get rid of fat than to put it on.

Since there is very limited scientific information, data is conflicting on this point. Yokes raise cholesterol levels on normal diets. Speaking from my own personal experience, before I started working out and was maintaining a "normal diet" my cholestorol level was pushing 400. My doctor told me I was a walking heart attack. Rather than listening to him I started working out and changed to a low carb diet with about a dozen whole eggs/day. At last cholesterol test my total cholesterol was 165.

My personal belief is that when they run thier tests, the ASSUME a "normal" diet. Frankly I think that its the combination of eggs with carbs that cause the increase - but that is only a hunch.

If you look back at my posts, I have been on this board for a very long time. Back when i started this you can see all of the people who told me that I would die. In fact I have not. I am cut, fit, and healthy.
