    Anyone have a Cheat Day?

How many of you have a cheat day in your diet when you are trying to drop weight? By cheat day I am referring to a day that you will eat anything that you wish or crave.

cheat days are not good...if you are on a strict diet then one day you decide to eat whatever you want, it will be hard to resist the next day and the day after. its too risky and it will interrupt your diet. it was really hard for me when I saw people eat all the delicious food while i was eating tuna out of the can and broccoli for dessert, but overcoming few temptations now it doesn’t even faze me, i can sit on a table full of heavenly food and I’ll have no desire for it, in fact when i see may family eating that kind of a food i feel sorry for them, and they are all overweight...dieting is only temporary, once you get there then you can have whatever you want as long as you are balanced.

cheat days are the enemy, diets are what what makes or breaks a great physique, if it were easy anyone could do it.

to my understanding cheat meals are needed to keep metabolism in check.

do anyone who does not do cheat meals it might help if you read these articles about leptin and refeed meals. it makes complete sense for anyone looking to drop fat.

Im doing a 36 hour carb load and still losing bodyfat. I wouldnt really say its a cheat though, because its a pain in the ass to do! I recommend a cheat day unless you are trying to get from 2 digit to single digit bf. The lower you go the more discipline it will take and there can be no slacking off.....TOP

You are confusing cheat meals with refeed meals. Two totally different things.

Yes cheat meals are essential...mentally! its not all physical its also mental.

I cheat once every 2 weeks, reason being being i use to weigh allot and my body will know what to do with " cheat meals " if i give it to much.....
