    Best Nut/Seed for lean mass

Well if that title didn't sound gay enough, I am trying to find something to snack on without a lot of fat. Most nuts I have been eating lately have lots of fat like peanuts and cashews. I have also tried sunflower seeds.

What is the highest protein source with the lowest amount of fat in regards to nuts or seeds?

    Thanks!

    eat almonds...

whatever nut you pick will be high in fat...its kind of the point. You are eating nuts for their healthy fat content. If you want a snack without a lot of fat, dont choose nuts.

PS - both of the "nuts" you mentioned are not, in fact, nuts

thanks for the response, I know they have healthy fats (EFAs), but sometimes I want to eat like a ridiculous amount of them, which would be good for protein but too much fat.

    what about seeds?

Flax and hemp seeds are great. Not sure about others as I really dont mess with eating seeds very much. Sunflower seeds are a good way to snack on something without eating a lot as it takes time.

The whole idea is that you have to stay within your macros, so you must measure out servings to know what your eating. If you find yourself eating to many, either stop eating so many or find another snack
