    Pre-lifting nutrition for early birds

I'm going to get back lifting in the am (hopefully i'm healed) as i have found when i get home in the evening, too much going on w/ the family, so it's early or not, usually. Any suggestions on what i should consume pre, i'll get up about 30 min before i start working out (usually drink a couple cups of coffee initially)

    thanks

CARBS CARBS CARBS. They are your best friend in the morning. During the night ur glucogen level is depleted. Id say a cup or so of oats with a few eggs would do the triick

i do cardio on an empty stomach in the morning, which i think gets the best results, if i were you i'd do empty stomach cardio to start off with, then eat like 60g oats and 2 scoops of whey, then work out and eat a banana and another scoop of whey
