best time to take a PWO shake, but troubles

im looking for the best time to take my PWO shake however
i have a problem because after my lifting on the muscle for that day

i like to go straight into cardio .. i run 1.5 miles but increase .25 miles every week, then i go on the elliptical and do 25 mintues but increase that by 5 every week.. the problem is

when should i take my PWO shake ? because my cardio after my work outs are getting longer and longer, and i see how people emphasize how important did it to get your body the proteins it needs 15-30 minutes after a workout ..

so i tried to take it after my workout then go into cardio, but all that protein kinda makes me sick to my stomach when doing extensive cardio the way i do

think its alright to wait until after the cardio or i must take it after lifting and before cardio ?

Maybe try doing your cardio first the your lifting routine. Unless your cardio is really intense and you dont have the energy.

If its dicomforting to down your shake before cardio just wait until after.....Its best to consume PWO ASAP but im sure its alright to wait a little bit longer.

I disagree. Doing cardio before your work-out will deplete your glycogen stores and turn your lifting more catabolic. Lifting is all about strenght and cardio is about heart rate. Lifting before cardio will also increase your fat loss during cardio.
Best case sccenario would be to do your cardio at a different time during the day but if you cant I would lift first, have some BCAAs and then do cardio. After you're done, then have your PWO nutrition immediately.

I never lift on an empty stomach, however you can't switch post workout nutrition to pre workout nutrition if that's what you're asking
