    The Anabolic Diet and cutting

I'm curious if anyone here has used The Anabolic Diet (by Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale) for cutting, prior to bulking?

It's a diet that is convenient, requires little prep time, manageable amounts of food to take to work, easy calculations, etc., but I'm curious about people using it for cutting.

I need to cut some body fat in order to bulk.

    6'0
    218
    bf 15-17%
    daily kcals are ~2200
    cardio 30-60 min non-lift days
lift days: sequential low volume, high intensity lifts, 4 routines, followed in sequence, one lift every 3 days, so cardio in between

I've maintained previous gains great on this convenient diet and workout, but don't seem to be losing body fat that well.

Man, your cals seem awfully low! On average how much weight have you been losing per week? If it is more than 2 lbs/week you are certainly burning up some muscle along with the fat. If this is the case I would raise the cals up some.

Believe it or not, even with 30min cardio per day, some days an hour, I've not exceeded 2lb per week yet. I have a metabolism from hell...sluggish doesn't even begin to describe it.
