    Too much Cardio?

I have been on a cutting diet for about three weeks. I have lost about 8 lbs. The last few days I have been stuck at the same weight. I have increased my cardio to one hour a day, six days a week. I have been cutting carbs out after 4:00p.m. Could this be slowing down my fat loss, or am I at a point where maybe I'm losing inches? I'm also lifting 5 days a week, about 30 min. I lift just prior to cardio. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a typical day of meals.

    meal one:
    protein shake, banana

    meal two:
    small chicken breast, nutri-grain bar

    meal three:
two chicken breasts, green veg.,small portion of rice or potatoes

    meal four:
    protein shake

    meal five:
baked fish or chicken, green veg.

    meal six:
    protein shake

Cardio is done right after lifting.

Is 2 whole chicken breasts AND veg AND carbs for meal 3 a bit much?

Perhaps drop to only 1 chicken breast?

Looks pretty good otherwise. Going to be interesting to see what the others suggest on this one.....

Depends on the size of the chicken breasts. If they are 8oz a piece I would cut it to one as well. No need for a 100g of protein in one sitting.

Protein is still calories. No need to consume unnecessarily large meals, regardless of whether it's pro/carb/fat. However, I agree that the portion size of such a lean meat isn't detrimental.

You realize your last sentence totally contradicts the first two.
