Post Workout Meals Critique
What do you guys think of my post workout recovery shakes/meals?
1)Within 5 min of my last set: 2 scoops of carb slam (waxy maize 60g), 2 servings of x tend amino's, 1 serving of bsn cell mass.
2) 30 min later: 16 oz skim milk, 1 scoop whey, (1) 4-5 ounce banana.
3) 90 min after meal 2: 8 oz lean meat, 8 oz broccoli or spinach.
Is this ideal for a decent recovery? I'm currently eating 2300-2500 calories per day trying to get down to the single digits.

Just curious - why break up the waxy maize and whey? I'd do both at the same time right after your workout, and would probably drop the banana. 60-90 mins later do the real meal.

Wait at least 15 minutes after your last set and just have one shake - waxy-maize/whey shake I suppose. 60-90 minutes later, as stated above, have your whole food meal and add a complex carb source OR if you're done with carbs for the day, 15-20g healthy fat.

Tore a pectoral playing hockey. Can you believe that shit?! It ****ed me up so bad in the head that I just started binge eating and not even doing abs/legs/cardio. Lost my abs by gaining like 4% bf and dropping 10 lbs of lbm. During my self destruction, I of course didn't feel like giving diet advice, lmao. Anyway, I've been back on track for a few weeks now with tons of cardio and a strict keto diet - eating about 800 below tdee, no bad fats, just lean pro and oils. By month's end the damage will be undone and it'll be time for my second cycle, so I'm not too concerned with the strength loss. Life is good and I'm back. Sorry for the major thread hijack. Let this be a lesson to everyone though; don't learn it the hard way. Even if you're moving, injured, on a long vacation, or ill - don't scrap your diet just because you can't train. Had I continued eating properly, I wouldn't have lost muscle or gained fat and I'd still be able to eat carbs!

Sorry to hear about that bro, but i'm sure once you're at 100% you'll be even better than before.
Oddly enough, I think I put on 4% bodyfat just over this weekend alone.... lol
