    Acai berries ?

Just wanted to know what everyones thoughts are on Acai berries ?

Would you only use them to cut or would you also use them when bulking to keep the fat down ?

All types of berries are great for you, and I doubt Acai berries are any exception. Berries are typically lower GI than other fruits, and are loaded with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. I say eat a bunch! However, on a cutting diet i'd limit them to the first meal or two of the day.

    ^Agreed.

But acai berry, or any other berry out there won't necessarily help you loose fat

    Good point D7M...

OP you asked about using them 'to cut'. I wouldn't be opposed to eating them 'while cutting' as stated above, but like D7M said they will do nothing for you in terms of actually losing fat.

Now that you mention it, I do. It's too bad when the food industry (or lobbyists with an interest in the berry industry?) market stuff this way - kind of screws the general public who's looking out for their collective health.

I actually heard all the hypea while ago and took acai/pomegranate concentrate shots every morning while the bottle lasted - it did nothing for body fat reduction, but I honestly felt like my skin and energy levels improved.

Of course, now that I follow a strict diet 24/7 and eat berries all the time; I can say I have no need for such a product or the added sugar it would bring.

Haha, that's some serious misinformation. How do these people sleep at night? Well, on a pile of money but you know...

Goji berries are the shiz if you can get them, if you ever are feeling down, or like your about to get sick, one handful and your gonna be sweet as rain.

I add them to my oats in the morning, here is the Nutritional info for them, but beyond the NI, they have something like 1000% more antioxidants then blueberries, my friends swear by them and I havn't been sick in years "knock knock"

    Goji Berries
    per 100g

    Energy - 1310kj
    protein - 12.4g
    Fat - 1.8g
    Carbs - 61g (sugar 12g)

You'd probably only ever eat about 10grams at a time

Far as I'm concerned these are the super berry for staying healthy and looking young
