    Just a quick Q

Is it never okay to injest something like honey after cardio? I've been told that its not a good idea, but what about HIIT type cardio. Because this is more intense, will it hinder my fat loss as much?

What's the point of doing any cardio, HIIT or otherwise, if you're eating pure sugar right after?

Well when u put it like that, I feel like an idiot. I skipped the honey anyways, it is okay to take it post workout though right because it just gets shoved into the muscle correct??

LoL sorry man, not trying to make you feel like an idiot. After a cardio only session, the only thing i'd eat is protein and/or some BCAA's. There are people here who will do a protein/fat meal or even some carbs, but IMO it somewhat defeats the purpose of empty stomach cardio if you're just refueling as soon as you finish.

For PWO, i'm not a big fan of simple sugars either, moreso on a cutting diet. I stick with complex carbs like oats for PWO, although if trying to add mass i'll throw in a banana too. Mainly, i'm not looking to spike my insulin at any point in the day, even PWO - because i'm prone to putting on bodyfat. You may be able to do simple carbs PWO and stay lean - but I wouldn't do honey. Vitargo, Waxy Maize, etc are better options IMO.

I believe honey is low GI. Pure fructose. Not sure, will look it up when I have time. So, if you have it on some fruit at a restaurant, it's pretty good compared to the alternatives but it's kinda pointless on a BB diet period.
