What method do you recommend for fat calipers?
So if I just measure the suprailiac skinfold with the caliper, I get 25% bodyfat.
But the rest of my body is far leaner than my stomach. When I use this method:
Jackson/Pollock 3
Caliper Method
Chest 12mm
Abdominal 30mm
Thigh 10mm
it gives me a bf % of 15.78, based on my age 31, and weight 238.
Why the f do I store so much bf on my abdominals? Any calculation I do that averages other skinfolds is going to bring my bf down, so wouldn't it be fair to say that my actual total bf % is less than 20%?
Anyhow, I'm still doing ~3000 cals/day with 30min cardio and 5 days of weight training. If it doesn't work, then I'll try something else.
