On some supplements it states to take XXX Fluid ounces of water a day. My question is does this water have to be "pure" or does any form count. Ex: If I drink 6 protein shakes a day and put 6 ounces of water in each do those 36 ounces of water count toward total water consumption? I've looked everywhere for this answer and haven't found an answer yet. Any insight would be much appreciated.
