    Question about Blends

A while back I switched to blends over straight Whey but I noticed one thing between Syntha-6, Lean Desserts, Myofusion, etc with all the blends. The first ingredient is always Whey Protein Concentrate. This really preturbs me because it makes me think that these companies are just making the blends 90% or whatever obscurely high percent of the protein content concentrate and the rest is just a small amount of Egg, Casein, etc then putting the extra cash in their pocket from overcharging for a blend.

    Any truth to this ?

Definitely. I admittedly use Myofusion for convenience and cost sake, but when I really want to know what i'm getting I make my own blend - either by buying the powders separately then mixing myself, or using truenutrition dot com (formerly trueprotein dot com) which offers a wonderful service.

lol, I haven't ordered in a while, but I remember going with the premium flavor peanut butter chocolate which if I remember correctly, comes pre-sweetened.

If I were you, i'd keep it additive free. Keep your supplements separate (vitamins, arginine, etc) as they will completely screw the flavor of the mix. Also, stay away from the hydrolized variety... as I recall, it also tasted like crap.

Off topic but I was told by my supp supplier that myofusion has been discontinued and replaced by the more expensive hydro so stock up while you can or else you will pay more until all the hydro marketing hype has died down......
