Eating before bed
Hi, does anyone take a protein before bed ? I'm in a lean bulking cycle and I must say I have lost some body fat 3% and put on 5lbs .. I'm a little hungry before bed .. I know the body could use the protein since its repairing it's self why i'm sleeping but I'm also worried about putting on fat ? What's your thoughts

Yes, you can drink a shake before bed if you feel the necessity of it.
Casein is usually what we prefer since it is a slow digesting protein source and it is also incapable of causing an insulin spike.
You can throw a scoop into a blender with plenty of water (more water than you would normally use for whey) since it has a pretty thick texture, ''sludgy'' is what I would call it. It will keep you full throughout the night once you chug it down though.

The majority of people on this board do. Make sure you fit it into your macros and there's no need to worry about adding fat.

I'm definitely guilty of eating before bed, always have. I try to curb my sweet tooth...yea that's it.
