what you purchased was mostly, by weight, dextrose.

stevia is 300x sweeter than sugar, and a pinch is really all it takes.

this is what the reviews are saying about the Stevia purchased from Sam's Club:

"Each packet is one gram, of which only 38 MILLIgrams is stevia; the rest is dextrose. The labeling does not clearly reflect this, and there is no way to know this fact ahead of time if you are purchasing through click 'n pull, since they do not list the ingredients online"
