    Need advice specifically from 405!

    Sorry to start a new thread, i tried replying to the other one but my browser crashed everytime.

    You gave me a good formula to figure out cutting. I want one to figure calories for bulking. Would like to write this down for future reference.

    the formula i prob gave u figures out maintenance (rough starting maintenance that is)

    LBM x 15

    bulk = add 350-500cals

    cut = subtract 350-500cals

    example: 200lbs 10%bf

    200 x .9(%LBM) = 180lbs LBM

    180 x 15 = 2700cals (rough maintenance)

    cut: 2700 - (350-500cals) = 2350-2200cals

    bulk: 2700 + (350-500cals) = 3050-3200cals

    get it?

    I hear ya. It happens unfortunately. The 'resident regulars' that were around when I joined have all pretty much disappeared. It's why I TRY to keep up appearances. I had a huge presence here a couple of years ago but as you know, I've fell off quite a bit as life (my son) has taken a front seat.

    Agreed, and thanks. I went through a tough family time last year that most definitely showed me the light and straightened out my priorities for me. This is a selfish lifestyle and we can get caught up in it. It won't happen again.
