Macro Calculation Methods
I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations where / how to measure your macros.
I used fitday.com before, but the calculations are way off on some foods.
Also, I am hearing that the uncooked / dry weight is the correct measurement to use. Any opinions?

I use fitday and have no problems with macros.
I use dry weight for dry goods, (oats, rice, ect) and cooked weight for most proteins - beef, fish, chicken, tuna, ect.

MickeyKnox - can you explain why you use cooked weight for proteins? Cheers.

It's just easier for me as i cook in bulk - 20 chicken breasts, 30 fish filets, 8lbs extra lean burger, ect. Then i take what i need and weight it out cooked. If youre on a strict diet and counting every cal, perhaps this is not for you, but it works well for me.
