one of my favorite meals is simply:

8oz 96%ff ground beef, 1/2-3/4 cup (dry measurement) brn rice, reduced sugar heinz ketchup, tobasco, garlic powder

i just mix it all in a big bowl and eat with a big spoon! dang good!

when i cook the beef i use a fair amt of sea salt + pepper + garlic powder + cayenne..

I've been eating 2 different ones lately:

    8oz lean ground beef (I use 95/5)
1/2 cup fat free refried beans
1 tbsp fat free sour cream
1 serving (I forget the serving size atm, but it's pretty standard) reduced fat shredded cheese blend (cheddar, montery jack, etc)
Spices to taste (whatever you like. I use cumin, chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper)

Cook the beef in a skillet until browned. Drain if necessary (usually isn't when it's this lean). Remove from heat and stir in the beans and seasoning until incorporated. Top with cheese and let the heat from the beef melt it if you wish (or not). Top with the sour cream and enjoy!!

Also just made a dish this weekend, although I don't have the measurements handy atm:

    95/5 lean ground beef
    rice (whatever you like)
    scallions
    fat free sour cream
    canned tomatoes
    skim milk
Low fat shredded cheese blend (same as above)
    seasonings (same as above)

Basically cook the beef and season as in the recipe above. Add tomatoes and scallions. Separately, cook the rice (I use chicken stock instead of water for more flavor). Once cooked, incorporate skim milk and sour cream. This will produce a very creamy rice. Add the rice to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with the beef mixture and then cheese (optional). Put in 375 degree oven until cheese just starts to brown. Awesome dish!!!

Thanks buddy! Yea, I like em a lot. Definitely better for 'bulking' foods since you can get away with more (the cheese for instance). Next time i'm going to add red kidney beans to the 2nd dish... rice + beans = complete protein. A little more bang for your buck!

I've been around, but was without power for a week due to the hurricane we suffered (I'm literally like 15 mins from the shore) so just getting things back in order now. Lost a week in the gym which pissed me off because I had some nice momentum going. My workout today was great though, so i'm back to that level, I feel.
