    cooking with almond milk

I use almond milk for pretty much everything.
I noticed when i cook with it, the recipe never comes out the same as reg milk.
Do others cook with it or still use milk for recipes that call for it?
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

The problem is it's not 'milk' at all, so it's logical that it won't 'behave' or react like milk when using it for cooking.

gixxerboy1, don't mean to hijack your thread but since you do use almond milk....have you tried the "Silk" soy milk and if so, what's your take on it in comparison to almond milk insofar as taste is concerned? Thanks man.

I don't mean to hijack your question to Gix, lol... but personally I'd stay away from soy until studies are conclusive, re: elevated estrogen in men. Just my .02. Taste wise, not much difference IMO.
