    Christmas day cheat feast

    Hello all.

Been perusing the boards and decided to share my idea with you all.

For the past month or so, I've decided to make Christmas day a day where I eat any and all the junk foods I want.

I'm around 170lbs and I'd like to think I have an athletic build.

I plan on gorging on these types of food because I can pretty much say that I haven't had a chocolate bar, slice of pizza, nachos or any of my favourite "unhealthy" foods in over six months. It's a lifestyle I live, but for Christmas, I'm taking the day off.

Say if I eat in excess of 6000 calories in junk food, My question is "what kind of effect will this type of eating have on my physique in the short term and long term?"

So far my short list of foods include:

Nachos and cheese (Tostitos brand) topped with ground beef
2 chocolate chip muffins from Tim Hortons
6 chocolate chip cookies from Subway
1 maple pecan danish from Tim Hortons
    2 donuts from Tim Hortons
    1 Oh Henry bar
    1 slice of pizza
    1lb of wings
A large canister of honey roasted peanuts
3 slices of cheesecake from a bakery

I'm kind of thinking maybe it will be beneficial for my metabolism, since I haven't had these things in a long.

What do the rest of you feel?

Sounds like you have a very strict diet. That's good.

Short term=sugar buzz, maybe your stomach a little upset only because it's not used it. Probably just use the restroom a few more times than usual.

    Long term=nothing.

I commend you on your dedication to your diet. Cause to be honest, there's many days i eat that and don't blink an eye. I just love sugar.

    Happy eating!!

    10,000cals!

    You, sir, have inspired me.

Shall we have an eat off? lol

As for me having a strict diet, I'm still learning how to balance macros. I also had to re-dedicate myself to the gym after slacking around the weights for 5 months or so.

I also eat too much sliced bread. Aside from granola cereal or cookies 'n cream oatmeal or fruits, they're one of my major carb sources.

one thing i am learning about macros and how they pertain to me: when i want to lose fat i manipulate the carb macro specifically. protein i keep between 300-400g per day and fat i just dont even worry about anymore cuz all the food choices i make are good.

i have also learned a lot about the effectiveness of fasting as it relates to cutting as well as maintenance of a lean physique. it can enable u to enjoy things u typically couldnt get away with enjoying on occasion!

nutrient timing (specifically carb timing) i have found to be important.

    ^^^^ I don't even think I'm that strict, though. I think I don't eat enough.

Plus I indulge by eating too much of a good thing. For instance, bring a bag of peanuts or cashews and I just wont have one serving, I'll eat it all. Or if I'm having yogurt and granola, I may just eat all of it.

Lol that's alright. As long as the food your eating is clean it shouldn't matter to much, your body knows what it needs to grow.
Nice ink btw. Your about as tatted up as you can get. Wish I had the money to get some right now. I still don't have any

I wish I had money these days. I'd be sure as hell bulking up, right now.

But I guess it's a bit of a godsend. Living on a tighter budget has made me learn more about macros and I'm forced to eat cheaper foods that happen to be healthier.

Whenever I eat junk food I feel like I'm hungover the next day. My body isn't used to it.

So here's what I've eaten for my Christmas feast. I didn't finish everything I bought. The sweet substances were too much at once. Now, I'm not so hungry for any other food items. I'm pretty lethargic, right now.

I had some time on my hand to log my food.
