bio-availiblity
is the bioavailiblity compensated for when they post nutritional info.
so if something serving size is 1000 cal with 50% bio avail are u really only getting 500 calories or are u eating 1500 calories and getting 1000

Bio-availability and caloric intake are completely different notions.
If a XL egg has 7 gr of protein with BA of 100%, then your metabolism ingests and is able to synthesize the entire 7gr of protein in it.
If a whole egg had a BA of 50% per se, then figures would differ only regarding the total amount of protein that your metabolism is able to ingest and synthesize; however, caloric intake would be the same, regardless.
