is the bioavailiblity compensated for when they post nutritional info.
so if something serving size is 1000 cal with 50% bio avail are u really only getting 500 calories or are u eating 1500 calories and getting 1000

The bioavailability it how much of that is actually absorbed for use by ur body. The calories is the amount of energy it takes to break down.

Bio-availability and caloric intake are completely different notions.

If a XL egg has 7 gr of protein with BA of 100%, then your metabolism ingests and is able to synthesize the entire 7gr of protein in it.

If a whole egg had a BA of 50% per se, then figures would differ only regarding the total amount of protein that your metabolism is able to ingest and synthesize; however, caloric intake would be the same, regardless.

Bio-availability is a notion that applies to all food.

Does it now make sense to you why quality nutrition is the nutrition you need and we advise for in BB?
