help with my diet
ok i started this diet back in september and i was 150lbs and have gained about 15 to 20 lbs on it....i was given this diet by a friend that was on it and he already weighed 170 i dont really stick to it now b/c it was adding unwanted fat could anybody please alter it so that i could maintain what i got or even bulk alittle more i wouldnt mind cutting but i rather keep the muscle i got
here it is
meal 1))) 6 whole eggs
3 tablespoon of brewers yeast (17g carbs, 20g protein, 116 calories)
meal 2 ))) 1 can of tuna
1 cup of of white rice
1/2 cup black beans
meal 3))) 1 chicken breast
1.5 cups of white rice
salad
meal 4))) same as meal 2
meal 5))) 10 oz. beef
2 cups of vegetables
meal 6))) 4 eggs
.5 cups oatmeal (dry)
post workout shake
10 oz. skim milk
8 oz. fat free yogurt
tablespoon of peanut butter
1 banana
1 scoop of protein(approx. 25g)
5g creatin
alot of times i would have to skip meal 3 b/c i didnt have enough time to eat .....any thoughts? thanks guysLast edited by thebrain; 05-12-2003 at 04:17 PM.

Make sure your rice is slow cook, and try to change it to brown. Make sure your oatmeal is slow cook too. The thing that needs some changing is your post workout shake, it is tooooooo slllllloooooowwwwww. Just do whey and dexatrose (or some other simple sugar) and creatine. The milk, yogurt and PB are all slowing digestion of your nutrients, not what you want. Also you really dont want fat in this meal as it isn't going to do much but get shuttled to adipose (fat) tissue quicker because of all the insulin you have.

O ya, and then 1 hour later have a meal with the milk and yogurt... You want something slow digesting then.

thanks pain....should i cut down on how much i am eating.......b/c i was gaining a little fat around the waist..........i will switch my rice and use water with my shake thanks for the input...o and i forgot i use flax seed oil in my shake ..should i take that an hour later too

Ya take the flax after post workout or earlier in the day, whenever you have a meal with a lower calorie content take it. If you are gaining a little fat then either lower your caloires in or do a little extra cardio. Take your pick.
