Question Better or worse to be hungry before bed?

I am usually hungry right before I go to bed, I am cutting right now and hitting my macros. I tried to move meals around and such but kinda just made me hungry during the day... Was wondering if its better or worse to go to bed hungry especially if trying to cut. Thanks

Hmmm. I don't like being hungry, ever.

As far as results, it doesn't really matter if you go to bed hungry or full. So long as you're consistent with your macros, you'll end up with the same results.

Get something super low calorie like a rice cake or something. No real nutritional value but a rice cake won't make or break any diet if you have one before bed.

But the best thing to do in your case really, is to increase you TDEE. Run more so you can eat more.

I completely moved all meals around to eat almost only during night time. This have helped me tremendously with staying focused and increasing my energy levels for my workout the day after as I always workout somewhere around 10-12.

    Thanks

I get a way better sleep if I go to bed with something in my stomach. Cutting can suck , it's worse when your sleep deprived.

    Broccoli soup....

Boil broccoli, put broccoli in blender while hot, add enough water to come about half way up the broccoli in the blender (use the water u cooked it in), add salt (a fair bit) and pepper, blend for a min or so until smooth and creamy....

U will be surprised at how creamy and buttery the soup tastes with nothing but broccoli in it.... I will never eat broccoli florets ever again, yuk

Alright. I'll give it a try. I like broccoli. The only soup I've had was broccoli cheese soup. So this should be interesting.

^ Good idea. Spinach salad. You can eat a lot of spinach with no caloric damage.

Can't think of a worse thing, damn I hate spinach but it is great for this, as is broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, asparagus, sprouts etc.

OP when I cut I only eat 4 meals a day it means that I have more calories per meal which creates more satiety than 6 small meals. Don't know your plan but might be worth a shot. I have carbs in 3 of those meals, before training, post training and my last meal of the day.

I love all of the mentioned above. the only problem is that NO MATTER what I do, I can't get asparagus to taste good at home. Everywhere I go, it tastes great. But if I make it, it's like chewing bubble gum. Yuck.

No. I'll wait till I can visit the UK and come to dinner at your new house one day. But only if you have hardwood floors.
