    Question about cravings

    Ive recently started eating fruit only before and after my workouts and startchy carbs in the morning, only trace carbs in the evening. Lots of protein and good fats in my diet. I have good energy through out the day but i wake up at night and my body is screaming "Give me Fruit, give me fruit". Is this something my body will eventually adapt to or will it be something i have to constantly fight with

    Food cravings are a natural phenomena of life. Better to have fruit cravings than chocolate cake, haha. No big deal really, you can satisfy it and work it off at the gym or modify next days diet allowance. Or you can ignore it and go back to sleep.

    Its not a craving like when I have a sweet tooth, hard to describe, a bettef word for it would be a thirst.

    I'd rather eat cake preworkout than fruit.

    Could be your diet is very low in carbs and your body is craving more carbs, in your case fruit.
