    help with cutting diet

    I’m about to start a cut… hows this look?

    Stats:
    Male
    5 10”
    230lbs - 104kg


    7:30am
    25g natty peanut butter
    30g whey
    5ml flax seed oil
    blended

    12:00pm
    200g chicken breast
    spinach (i don’t measure greens)
    10g feta
    30g whey

    4:00pm
    lift weights
    post workout 40g whey
    a couple of jelly beans

    6pm
    200g porterhouse steak
    green vegetables
    50g sweet potato
    30g whey
    cooked in 10ml coconut oil

    9pm
    2 whole eggs
    3 egg whites
    cooked in 5ml coconut oil
    20g avacado
    30g whey
    20g tasty cheese

    totals
    2270 calories
    30g carbs
    106 fat
    274 protein




    how does that sound? I’m lifting 4 times a week, endomorph body type

    It does not sound good. If you want to cut using a Ketogenic style diet then that is what it should be. Please recalculate your values here Keto Calculator - Learn Your Macros on the Ketogenic Diet and reformulate your diet accordingly. You need much more fat but the calculator will tell you this

    I don't really want to go into ketosis, rather just high fats and protein, with moderate carbs just for a cutting cycle, do you think that would be the best diet for me to cut down for 2-3months?

    The reason why it was so low is because i thought something had to be reduced to keep my calories at ~2300

    what macros would you suggest for my calories?

    I am a huge keto fan for cutting so:

    C: 5%
    F: 60%
    P: 35%

    Keto is not for everyone though but it is my suggestion.

    if i was dieting at 2200 calories what would you say i should do for macros?
    and should i carb up?

    I just gave the macros above.

    I would not use clen until you hit an absolute wall.

    Carb-up tends to only be necessary once you go below 14-15% body fat.
