b12, lipotropic and hcg diet
Sooo I decided to get a consultation at a "health & wellness" facility yesterday. I was intrested in b12 and lipotropic as I've heard mixed reviews. I thought that the shots would be there selling point but it was a hcg diet with "support & counsling" for $1200 with like 12 shots and some nifty progress log books....ohh and tried selling me some of there protein mix shakes...
3 egg whites
Shake
Chicken or beef 4.5 ounces w/ broccoli or asparagus
Shake
Two servings of specified fruits per day
And chicken or beef w/ vegetable again
lol.... $1200 For what????
A diet.... anyone who eats only that for 6 weeks will lose ridiculous weight and have amazing results!!
Just wanted to vent....on my $95 consultation fee loss.....and see what you guys thought considering I know alot of the guys on here are the real experts!!
I'm still considering it but obviously on my own....just seems like the low carb diets I've used before....just more extreme..
Thanks in advance!!

The HCG diet is a scam. Don't do it, don't waste a second's thought on it in any way

The HCG diet is basically taking HCG injections and eating 500calories a day.

Anybody who eats 500cals a day will lose weight with or without the HCG . It's a starvation diet. The HCG does nothing to help so you're left paying for expensive HCG injections that do jack shit towards losing weight. They make one of two claims: either the HCG helps with appetite making a 500cal more tolerable (which is bullshit) or that the HCG actually has a direct mechanism to help with weight loss (which is also bullshit). In 1976 I think it was, the FDA made manufactured place a label on their HCG saying it does not help with weight loss yet people still want to believe in the tooth fairy.

Okay, I wasn't plan on paying them. I'm considering doing the diet myself and just eating the appropriate foods...also going to take diet pills to supreme appetite and help with energy.
Does anyone have experience with the shots? How much energy do the give you and is it worth it....

If your diet is setup properly you'll minimize hunger and energy problems. You dont even need a diet pill. If you want to take something, after setting up a good diet, then look into Austinite's fat loss stack or just a simple ECA stack

Like I said, properly setting up your diet will take care of most problems associated with hunger. ECA stack will probably do more for you while being cheaper than some supplement company BS product.
What you need and what's realistic aren't always the same. Mind you a 6wk diet is 42 days not 30. I believe you need to learn a bit more about nutrition. Your posts in this thread give me a feeling that you're after the quick results and will simply fall back to old habits afterwards.

they are right! you don't need hCG to lose weight on 500 cals diet. hCG won't do anything to preserve muscles on that kind of a diet. so follow the advice above and do this right, and save money!

I'll take a look into ECA stack...how about clen ....I tried it a couple years ago and was dissapointed but I think my diet wasn't right.....will it help lose more weight or is it for people in better shape to lose a last couple pounds??
I know it sounds bad and most people here thrive off there hard work ect....but really I'm just looking for the steroid of weight loss....
I did a cycle probably 5 years ago and it was the best three months of my life mentally and physically....
I want that back....although I didn't have the right pct and lost everything....i know what it's capable of and know what I need and where to get it now. ....

Seriously, what's your thought on a ridiculous 800 or some calorie/day diet for 6 weeks....with a ton of diet pills followed by a cycle....

No one is saying I cant, won't or haven't worked hard. I'm just the type of person that needs motivation and a second opinion. I've seen what the steroids can do and are capable of...I just need some pressure and reassurance that hey you do this for 6 weeks your going to here....and you this you can be here.....not the work out do this that and another and maybe you can be where u wanna be...
You know what I'm good...I'm going to read labels....get into caloric deficit one way or another and when I lose the weight in 7 weeks or so I will seek cycle help.
Thanks

No offense but you guys make it sound like it's all about hard work and this and that....this isn't the first time I've gotten discouraged and not been helped as I see it on her daily...everyone is just trying to get the best bang for there buck and maximize there work out as much as possible...
No offense but you do realize it's a steroid website right?

6 weeks is nothing......if you want to look a certain way then it is a long term commitment and a lifestyle. The pharmacology is a small portion actually because your genetics are truly going to determine your outcome. If your gains don't stick post cycle and you train and eat right guess what? You are what you are ......I know that sounds frustrating but why do you think there are only a handful of guys that truly are jacked? Because they have good genetics. AAS use done properly will make you the best version of you that you can be .........the irony is you may or may not be satisfied with that version.

it is all about hard work and discipline.
everyone wants to do everything the easy way, there is no easy way!
yes, this is a steroid website. everyone's experiences are different as well as what motivates each individual. when i am on cycle, yes, i seem to work harder because i do not want to waste money and i want to see what i am made of. it all comes down to, what drives you!
