Post WO meal... ? ? ?
Alright....wtf?
I"ve been doing this awhile but not sure what to think of this.
1. Is it better to Eat Carbs ONLY after a hard workout...or Protein?
2. ...or both?
Give us your reasons why?
I've been told that your body is DEPLETED of energy after a WO and its craving carbs. Also, the body doesn't readily absorb protein after a meal (wtf...I thought i was going it right---i've been eating lots of protein right after a meal).

Just a protien shake and some carbs should do the job some even throw in some sugar to cause insulin spike

everyone is different, have to find what works for you.

Do not make a lick of a difference. PWO meals are pushed and supported by the supplement industry. Does it make a difference for on stage people and professional athletes? Maybe, but unless your in that group I would not pay much attention to it.

Whatever is most convenient. I do whey protein powder and a banana because its fast and easy. Then a couple of hours later I will eat a protein rich meal.

Bread and protein right after work out , milk some sweets with protein . Take your carbs first thing when u got home , i do.
