Diet Help Fruit
So I am wanting to go from 20-22% body fat to 15%. I am looking for diet advise and specific advise when it come to fruit. I love fruit and about 1/2 my carbs per day come from fresh whole fruit (Strawberries, Blueberries, Cherries, Citrus). Does this hurt with fat loss if well within macros?

Going to 2500 today with same breakdown

Age 44
Height 6'4

TDEE 3300
Training Experience- Lifted since High School, Played College Basketball
Back at it 8 months after taking 2 years off after my divorce drinking too much eating like crap, feeling like crap
Lift 5 days a week, one body part per day
30 minutes of cardio 5-6x week

yes it can, fruit contains fructose which is limited by an enzyme necessary to process it into liver restoring glycogen, anything past that amount will likely be converted to triglycerides....the average number is 50gm of fructose can be metabolized to replenish glycogen levels in liver, so my recommendation is to eat under 50 gm of carbs from fruit when trying to reduce body fat...i like any type of Berries, they are high in water so their calories impact in lower....same with oranges , grape friuts...

If somebody tells you they are fat because they eat too much fruit, they are full of shit. Unless your getting down to comp bf % there is no need to worry.
