    Nutrituon question

I am a newbie with nutrition and have no idea what I am doing. Would you guys recommend me going and seeing a nutrition specialist or is that a waste of time? I understand the basics of carbs, fats, proteins, macros, micros, BCAA's, and that stuff but the thing is I don't know when to eat them, how much to eat, and what to eat exactly. I am not a picky eater so I have no problem sticking to a meal plan to a T but I just need to understand how the entire thing works

That's a great question. I'm having a hard time trimming fat and I eat cleaner than anyone I know. I need some type of schedule I think.

There is alot of different ways to diet. You can find them all over this forum and google. Just have to figure out your goals. I also would suggest downloading a app called myfitnesspal. This will help u to start understanding what foods have what in them and how much u really need to eat.

    Welcome

Go read thru the stickies and browse through some the threads here and get an idea of what people are doing, many ways to skin a cat.

Timing of meals is not as important as getting your cals/macros in everyday

Do you know how to calculate TDEE and BMR?

Do you know what your maintainence cals are?

I do not. I think this is where I'm lacking the most. I assume I should google it or read a sticky? Seems to be the popular response lol

Ok so my TDEe is 3316. What do I do with that info. I assume I'll need to know my body fat percentage or some other info I don't have.

If your TDEE is 3300 and you want to lose or gain weight you need to eat less or more than 3300 calories. Pretty much as simple as that.
