    such thing as to clean

Title might be some what off. I generally eat really clean all the time but I notice on when I just go balls out like this last Saturday I ate 7 donuts cookies couple bowls cereal and restaurant Italian for diner the next day at the gym my muscle felt 10 x bigger harder fuller not to mention stronger in lifts. Should I feel like that all the time? Possibly not getting enough sugar in diet?

I've read somewhere that a lot of people dirty eat the night before comps to give there muscles that exact description you speak of.
I think it was in one of Mike_XXLs articles but I might be mistaken with that part.

When you have 'cheat days' so to speak, it's usually the overcompensation of the extra glycogen, not necessarily the food quality but the excess carbs, as well as holding extra water due to this and possibly sodium.

Besides that, referring to the title. Eating too 'clean' all the time and worrying about your food quality way too much is a classified eating disorder/mental health issue.

It would be better served to consider a "cheat day" a refeed day, and choose wiser carbohydrate selections. Use potatoes, oats, fruits, and vegetables.
