30gauge pins to draw from amp??

I was wondering if drawing from an amp with a 30 gauge pin would work rather than filtered pins since I cant get ahold of filtered pins. I would still be injecting with a 22g. Has anyone tried this methed??

30 gauge? Filtered pins? I prefer 18's for amps and vials.

you'll never drawer out of an amp with a 30g
and you dont need filter pins.

It's hard to suck AIR through a 30 lol. I don't use anything smaller than 23g and even that takes a while with oils. Water based is probably ok with 25g. You don't need filtering if youre using a new one each time. If youre not, STOP REUSING PINS! Bacteria starts growing as soon as you expose it to the environment. They also lose their laser honed edge after even 1 use. That dullness will damage tissue and cause pain, bleeding. Your amp and pin are both sterile. Just use the 22 to draw it. Careful not to hit the sides of the amp and you'll be fine

Never even saw 30g. Once I run out off 22g and used 25 for test and it took pretty long.

I'm sure it's probably not recommended but I have only used amps this far and I've always pulled the plunger out and dumped the oil into the syringe. Then put the plunger back not pushing it in until I flip the syringe needle side up and gravity pulls the oil down to the plunger. Then I push the air out.
