The latest in my saga

Well, I stopped the 10g/day of Androgel and took the 0.5ml Test E. every 2 wks. as the Dr. ordered. By day 3 I felt like garbage. My pain was back along with some depression, no sex drive, etc. Dug around and found that 0.5 ml/ 2wks was what my previous Dr. had tried with NO success of any kind. I went back to the 10g/day gel I had left and caled the Dr. It took a couple days for the gel to get me feeling good again. By then I had called the Dr's office and spoke to the Nurse( I capatilize it since I have more respect for them than doctors!), she got back to me a few days later and the doc ordered 1ml/wk for 4 - 6 and then labs.
I'm not one to think I know it all, but I supplied him with plenty of research material, offered to go to an experienced doctor if he was uncomfortable, and have done all I could to make this easy for him and we still seem to be playing cat and mouse with my health! I'm wating for a consult with an experienced HRT doctor who's within driving distance AND under my ins. plan. With any luck, he'll either take me on as a patient or advise my GP.
I just want to feel good enough to enjoy life as much as I should be capable. If I'm my labs come back just above the low normal, I don't want to fight to get them up more to see if it helps more, but it's a real possibility. For those of you who are not on HRT but hope to be...be ready to educate your doctor and/or do some serious searching for an experienced doctor!! It's the sad truth, but most docs don't know about this, don't want to take the time to learn or are fearful of the DEA. My doc doesn't have any problem handing me a triplicate form for a narcotic pain killer that has a street value 100 times that of the 5 ml vial of Test E. but he fears that one Injectable Testosterone scrip will bring in the dogs. Go figure!!

It's my third week on the 1ml/wk of Test and I'm feeling good again. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think I still could use a little more. To be totally honest, I'd love to try Hgh from what I've heard and at the very least, Deca to help even more with joint pain. I am greatful I have a scrip period, so I'm not gonna complain!! I'm waiting for a consult with a more experienced Dr. so we'll go from there once I hear from him. I'll have new lab tests in a few more weeks and I'll let you all know what the current plan has done for me. It's been 3 wks on the injections and I have little testicular atrophy and feel less pain than before the increase. I'm much better off than before treatment.
I know it may sound corny, but I can't thank everyone here (especially the sponsors and mods) enough!! You've helped with the quality of my life more than anything or anyone in a long time!
