TRT affects on spermcount with HCG
If I am going on 200mg Test C, and 200mg Deca , supplemented with HCG will this totally kill sperm production?
My wife and I are trying to have one more rugrat, so I was wondering If I need to wait to go on TRT.
We haven't been successful lately so I was starting to wonder if it is me that is the problem. My test level is at 290 but I was told my free test is at a normal range.
Any thoughts or experience from anyone?
Thanks

Lower the Deca or increase the test. The Deca will wipe out the test.
300 test 200 Deca would be better.

My program recommended that I clear trt with pct if I want kids. Seems like test as well as deca make for great male contriceptive

That is not a TRT schedule - hard to know what it is. You need about 200 test just to offset the drop in test that deca casues. Deca can help with joint issues and other things, but it does not in any way offset the symptoms of low test (well, maybe things like lowered ability the gain LBM).
Most generalizations will apply to guys who have solid levels. You really don't. Why? Until you answer that it may be hard to know how TRT might effect fertility. Though while some endos will state that any exogenous test destroys fertility, there are papers to contradict that particularly with TRT levels.

Maybe I misunderstood the dose I was told, this is possibly the strength of the compounds 200mg per ml instead of what I would be taking.
I guess I should wait until the wife is pregnant just to be safe.
So if Deca lowers test which it obviously does why is Deca common in a TRT program? Just for the joint relief, or is it common because most people going on a TRT around here are looking for gain in LBM from it? Hey I wouldn't argue with the potential gain but since my test level is so low it seems I would be better suited using test only. Am I missing something.

Deca is not part of a traditional HRT program. There are guys who get it from clinics as part of hrt but that is really a gray area. IMO.
200 mg of test a week is a pretty big dose for true HRT. Dont forget the hcg is gonna raise your test levels as well.
I have a vasectomy so sperm count was never an issue for me but my doc (one of the top guys in hrt) made a point of saying HRT is not birth control.

Could be, but then it is not TRT.

I use the word common because alot of the people on HRT from this board seem to be on deca as well.
I believe TRT is becoming UNDERSTOOD as anti-aging where a lot of other meds are used to supplement one's well being including deca, hgh.
