Do I Need The Juice??
I just got bloodwork done....
Testosterone = 270 ng/dl (Normal Range 250 - 1100)
% Free Testosterone = 1.72 (Normal Range 1.0 - 3.1)
Testosterone Free = 47.7 pg/ml (Normal Range 35.0 - 155.0)
Doctor said everything falls in the normal range... but it's obviously on the low end of "normal". He doesn't think I need to start TRT. I disagree!
What do you guys think??

We always bitch on here about drs that only treat the numbers, then guys come on here and only post the numbers.....
We need way more info on how YOU feel, sex drive, bf%, energy level, AAS history etc. to help you figure out if a lifetime of HRT is right for you. Also, I hope this doesn't sound like I am being a dick here but as a HRT lifer, I am a little offended by you calling it "the Juice".

I'd say if you're having the low test symptoms the TRT could do a world of good.
I've been on TRT for 4 months and I feel 1000% better. I was at deaths door or at least I felt that way until I started treatment. It totally changed my life.
IMHO Take the injections.

Relax Spyke, just trying to liven things up around here! Didn't mean to offend you.
I feel tired. That's why I went to the doctor. Body fat is around 12%. Did steroids when I was 15 which is over 20 years ago.
Just trying to get other peoples opinions on the subject.

your numbers are pretty close to what mine were when i first checked em out and was complaining of same symptoms....so you went to there for symptoms of being tired and you asked for TRT? You did blood, got your results, doc said no TRT? Did he have an alternative cure for you or did he just alleviate some weight from your wallet? LOL
I prefer injections because I want to be on the higher end of the test level range and needed too much gel to get me there...good luck and keep us posted.

call oasis.you don't need to walk around with numbers like that. if you are concerned about long term hrt they will let you do a cycle, but when you feel the change you'll be sold. I'll bet your estrogen is high also, too much girl juice and not enough boy juice is just not good. Call oasis, ask for jason.

My total T was higher then that but the urologist that I went to at a university hospital thought that that could be a problem with low libido and started me right off. Just depaends on the Dr. and there experience.

your current doctor didn't offer any other suggestions or treatments rather for the symptoms you brought to him?

The rest think that the reduction of hormones is a process of aging.
Additionally, they do what they are told by the HMO and insurance
companies. A dentist or vet can make more bucks than a Doctor.
Doctors kiss butt for a trip or champagne dinner. -pathetic-

He thinks maybe I need Welbutrin or something like that for depression and lack of energy. He didn't really offer anything for the lack of sex drive... I'm going to another dr. for a 2nd opinion.
